Kate has always been artistic, having painted or drawn on and off over the years. It was only when she retired that the lure of art drew her back to the easel to take it up more seriously with oils, and more recently, with acrylics.

After experimenting with different ideas, she began to develop her own style in the form of images from nature, her other passion. She also sometimes works in monoprinting.

She lives on the outskirts of Bath with her husband David who is also an artist.
